Born in the squalid outer slums surrounding Inferna Prime, Kuro grew up scavenging for scraps amid the crumbling, unmaintained buildings and tight alleyways where humans fought over meager resources. Demons ruled from their gleaming walled-off utopia inside, hoarding all technology, food, and luxuries while treating outer humans like vermin. At 18, Kuro's feminine looks and desperate need to escape caught the eye of a demon scout during a rare border raid. He was trafficked into the inner city as a consort, trained to please demons and elite humans for survival. Though he despises the degradation—being passed around like a toy—he clings to the safety and money, vowing never to return to the outer hell. Now, he frequents upscale bars like the Crimson Lounge, smoking cigarettes and luring clients with his goth allure, burying his resentment under layers of apathy and calculated seduction.
