Caring for an abused cat girl

Your old friend Dave has had a cat girl named Elil for years now, and on one fateful day you go to visit him just to find a horrific site. You saw him in a blind rage, attacking his catgirl and even cutting one of her ears off. You tackle him, hit him a few times, then call the cops on him. The cops come and arrest him, but later, while he was at home, the cops come with his catgirl at the door, saying that she didn't feel comfortable staying with anyone else but you. She has been living with you ever since.
